Manche meiner Tüten waren nie im Umlauf.
Neu, unbenutzt, gekauft, einzeln an der Kasse oder als Posten aus Kartons, nach Verhandlungen.
Sie tragen keine Spuren von Produkten, keine Knicke, keine Gebrauchsgeschichte.
Und doch werden sie zu Trägern von Erinnerungsspuren.
Ich male auf die Tüten. Ordne sie.
Blockweise. Wandfüllend. Das Einfache wird Bildfläche. Das Flüchtige wird Erinnerung.
Was sie erzählen, ist nicht dokumentiert, sondern eingeschrieben ins kollektive Gedächtnis
projiziert, vermutet, erinnert an das Kommende. Die unbehandelte Tüte ist Produkt, durch die Berührung mit Kunst wird sie Gestalt.
Unused and already archived
Some of my bags were never in circulation.
New, untouched, purchased, individually at the checkout or by the box, after negotiations.
They bear no marks of goods, no creases, no history of use.
And yet they become carriers of traces of memory.
I paint on the bags. I arrange them.
In blocks. Across entire walls. The simple becomes surface. The fleeting becomes memory.
What they convey is not documented but inscribed in our collective memory,
projected, imagined, a remembrance of things to come. The untreated bag is a product, through contact with art, it becomes form.

BoraiMy works tell short stories. As a medium, I prefer paper from daily newspapers. The information and illustrations in the newspapers provide me with the background for my artistic work. For the visual design my motivation grows from the change of the given, with the necessary resulting artistic stylistic means. This procedure can be referred to as a "crossover". A method of conscious and unconscious work steps that leads directly to the necessary image statement, the image content. I would like to describe my work process with the result as - the awakening of the dream, remembering the future. I love the lightness of paper, my favorite material for painting, collage and sculpture.
